haha - sorting laundry is such a hassle. I just think of all of those times where an article of clothing is now a different color because i missed one black sock. SO how would the device work? would it just use an optical checker to see what color the item was and then sort it accordingly. It might be easier to have the device just "grow" upwards as the pile gets bigger, the idea of it trying to move might get complicated. Besides, old laundry can start to smell after a while.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I hate laundry - every time I do a load, the clothes come out wrinkled, still wet, or not clean. If only this were small enough to fit in my room and real, haha. Good call, Jake.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a pretty neat idea. I think this would help out many house holds, in terms of saving time. However, how will it detect the differences between types of clothing to sort them out? Also, how big would this machine be, in order to sort through everything and limit how much one load is? I wouldn't want to buy a machine that would take up too much space in my house, but if it could properly carry out the functions that you mentioned, I think it would be a worthy machine to invest in.

ReplyDeleteThis idea is pretty interesting, laundry is one of my most hated to do but have to do things. Every time I do the laundry, I have to watch the time carefully, coz once the process finished and I forgot to go get them, they'll become smelly, so I have to wash the again. Not to mention they're wrinkled or not clean even after washing.So I think many people gonna get this thing if it is easy to use and not too expensive.

One thing that I thought of was it would be nice if they could be sorted by washing instructions to make our lives even easier.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this idea, this is zoo funny because i am actually doing laundry right now. i HATE laundry. I either ask someone to do it for me or don't do it at all. This idea would help me out a lot.
